Effective date: 1 July 2026
SiteWatch is a website-monitoring app published by ApertureTech LLC (“we”, “us”). In short: the app has no backend, no account system, and collects no personal data.
None that is sent to us or anyone else. SiteWatch has no servers and we receive no data from your device.
Everything you enter or the app generates — the websites you add, their labels, check intervals, captured page snapshots, and your notification history — is stored only locally on your device, in the app's private storage. It never leaves your device except as described under “Network access” below.
To detect changes, the app connects directly from your device to the websites you choose to monitor in order to download their content. These connections go to those third-party websites, not to us. The app does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or any third-party SDKs. The content of the sites you monitor is subject to those sites' own privacy policies and terms.
The app does not share, sell, or transmit your data to us or any third party.
Your data lives only on your device. You can delete it at any time by removing individual sites, clearing notification history in the app, or uninstalling the app (which removes all app data).
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same location with a new effective date.
